About The Seminar
The Green Sustainable Hospitality Industry Event will be discussing how to run a sustainable operation and develop sustainable hospitality. The event is organized by Rotary and sponsored by Seeders Capital. The main areas of focus will be sustainable tourism and green energy. Our partner leading brands worldwide, such as Aquatethys and The Waste Transformers, will be presenting their sustainable transformational technologies, such as the air-to-water solutions and onsite modular waste conversion to energy and demonstrating how businesses can use a more value-driven approach to have a positive impact on their employees, clients, surrounding environment and the whole planet.

The Waste Transformers
Coen Bakker has been working for over six years at the Dutch company The Waste Transformers. As a successful storyteller, filmmaker and marketeer he positioned The Waste Transformers as a value-adding technology provider by emphasizing the value generated from clients’ food waste instead of focusing on the technical aspects. The Waste Transformers have developed a modular small-scale anaerobic digester, called a Waste Transformer that allows businesses and communities around the world to transform their own food waste into clean local energy and natural fertilizer. With a study background in international hotel management, Coen perfectly understands the hospitality industry and its (environmental) challenges. More importantly, he sees the opportunities around a waste stream that is persistently present in the hotel industry, food waste, and shows the world how to turn this burden into green and financial value.
